Fox Plus Canyon
Experience the beautiful Fox Canyon that you know and love, but this time as a more technical course with increased challenges and special systems. Enjoy the thrills of zip lining into the canyon, being lowered 20 meters down a cliff face and then plunging into the canyon pool below. You will enjoy bigger jumps and more slides.
IMPORTANT NOTE: From July until September FOX PLUS starts at 8:00. This is so we can get into the canyon before it gets busy to do all the extra cool stuff. This does mean that you will have to stay in Minakami the night before. Luckily we have a really good deal with our lodge. Please add the lodge option when booking.

1. Welcome to Canyons Minakami Arrive at our base by car or shuttle bus. Once you have checked in using our ipad system and paid for your adventure you will meet your guide -
2. Tour briefing Your guide for the day will give a tour brief, then it's off to get changed into your wetsuit, lifejacket and helmet. Let's get into the bus for a short ride and start our canyoning adventure!

3. Safety talk Please listen carefully to your guide. At the start point, guides will give a safety explanation. After a gear check, you are ready to start!

4. Start Just relax and let the flow of the river carry you away

5. Tour Enjoy the sights, sounds and sensations of this awesome tour!

6. Goal To refresh your mind, body and soul. After refreshing in the canyon smiley faces are all around.

7. Back to base Change out of your canyoning gear and meet up with your guide and teammates. Kick back and relax with drinks or a BBQ then look back at a great day in the canyon!

At Canyons we love to BBQ! So we have created the best plans possible to make for the perfect end to an awesome day! Enjoy top quality meats from the famous ”Ikufuudo" butcher and locally sourced vegetables in a prime location by the Yubiso River.
