Big Holy Canyon
This tour involves plenty of fun rope work as you negotiate the course. You will be lowered down huge drops, fly down a 35 meter zip line and rappel down faces with you controlling your own descent! Depending on the conditions the guide can customize the tour to suit each group. There are some great jump options and a decent 8 meter slider which can be sessioned.
Please note: On this tour we spend time hiking and getting wet in the Canyon!

* Minimum age for participants is 13 years old
* Pregnant ladies cannot participate on this tour
* Tours will still run if it is raining though excessively high water may cause the tour to be cancelled
* No alcohol is permitted prior to the tour. Furthermore, anyone who cannot participate on the tour due to having consumed alcohol will be liable for cancellation charges

1. Welcome to Canyons Okutama Arrive at our base by car or shuttle bus. Once you have checked in using our ipad system and paid for your adventure you will meet your guide -
2. Tour briefing Your guide for the day will give a tour brief, then it's off to get changed into your wetsuit, lifejacket and helmet. Let's get into the bus for a short ride and start our canyoning adventure!

3. Safety talk Please listen carefully to your guide. At the start point, guides will give a safety explanation. After a gear check, you are ready to start!

7. Back to base Change out of your canyoning gear and meet up with your guide and teammates. Kick back and relax with food or drinks and look back at a great day in the canyon!

Enjoy our riverside BBQ plan.
Boasting a prime location riverside you can enjoy a relaxing BBQ with friends after your afternoon tour! Top quality meats and vegetables grilled in a stunning location with some great local beers to help wash it down. There is nothing better at the end of your adventure. Kanpai to that!

Hot Spring
Relax in a soothing hot spring (onsen).
Although Okutama is not famous for its hot springs there are a few reals gems that are a great way to relax after a canyoning adventure, especially in the colder months (April and October) Moegi no Yu is a fantastic onsen facility very close to Okutama Station. After a dip you can also check out the craft beer cafe Vetere.
